Billed as an “American Rock” band with “rockin’ your ass and meltin’ your face!” as a motto, the Kris Bell Band makes powerful rock with a groove, laden with melodic hooks and blazing guitars.
Born and raised in San Diego, Kris began playing guitar at age 7, played his first concert at 8 and was writing songs in earnest by the time he hit 13. By 2005, he packed up the axes and headed for Nashville, Tennessee, where he quickly landed a gig with Bo Bice, then a fresh “American Idol” winner.
After years of playing the big time, recording major label albums and opening for top industry stars, Kris launched his own career. The award-winning, triple threat, singer-songwriter-guitarist achieved heavy rotation on more than 150 radio stations in the U.S. and Canada with cuts from his debut album Turn It On, Turn It Up, while being named the 2010 Band and Album of the Year by nashvillerock.org. As Kris and company constantly tour, plans are in the works for a follow up CD to be released soon.
